A new research report issued by the RAND Corporation has determined that NOT drinking alcohol and drinking EXCESSIVELY are predictors of dementia onset after 60 years of age. Equally important is the Report’s finding that dementia is LOWEST among those who drink alcohol moderately.

The report on dementia provides one more example of how moderate alcohol consumption vs abstaining or excessively drinking appears to provide real health benefits. This finding is one more piece of evidence that the claim by the World Health Organization (WHO) that “No level of alcohol consumption is safe for our health” is unfounded.
