It’s a dangerous thing for me to open up Amazon and start looking at books. I buy. And my shelves are full. Still, I’m always curious about what’s coming down the pike. Here is my semi-annual look at what appear to me to be the most interesting wine books set to be published in 2023. All of these look to be pre-purchase gems.

One thing to note, however. At Amazon, where you can sort a category of books by publication date, straight wine books are mixed in with spirits books (beer has its own, separate category). As I look through books set to be published, there are far more spirits books coming than wine books. This is certainly a nod to the current and still rising popularity of cocktails and artisan spirits. And it’s a continued warning to the wine world. With that caveat, the most intriguing wine books of 2023:
