Lying to Paint the Wine Industry As Racist

The worst is when this kind of lie is offered in the service of giving the cannabis industry a leg up on the wine industry.

In the past, I’ve suggested that cannabis legalization will in fact impact wine sales. And I’m right about that, particularly the lower-priced wine categories. But there is another way competition between the two inebriants will progress: competing for employees. And as I’m about to point out, some members of the Cannabis industry are not below denigrating and lying about the wine industry in order to motivate potential employees to forgo wine for cannabis employment.

In a recent article entitled, “Wine Vs. Cannabis: How Social Inequity Differs In Both Industries” written by Jordan Smith at Fresh Toast, we learn that minorities will be subject to racism if they pursue work in the wine industry, but that the cannabis

industry is safer for minorities. This is bullshit.
