Pretty soon here, I’ll be issuing a press release for a client. Among other things, as a public and media relations consultant, I will somewhat regularly conceive, craft, and distribute news, announcements, responses, and such for my clients. Once the press release is written, it will take me no more than a few minutes to deliver it directly to a well-curated list of media. In other words, within an hour I can conceive, write and distribute a press release to wine media.

The change in how this is done has been drastic. For example, let me explain the process of sending a press release when I entered the wine marketing business in 1990.
